Landspeed Trials

Feel the rush, Participate, and experience an adrenaline rush like no other, go as fast as you want, just you on a wide 7 meters flat 7Klm/4.3 mile of road, no risk to license.

The road was designed as motorway for 120 tonne Logging trains 1.5 meter of compaction, 150mm of asphalt.

In the centre where we race the surveyor said its absolutely level down to 20mm.

Bragging stops here, see how fast you can go, timed by FIA/FIM approved electronic timing.

We have seen speeds up to 377kph/235mph.

Yours truly at aged 74 on a special racing motorcycle Kawasaki H2R did 340kph/212mph.

Can camp on site, toilets and showers and catering.

In the middle of Rotorua and Taupo, go for a dip in the local hot pools.

We even have a Police officer that races in his Nissan GTR and now signs off as fastest PC in NZ.
